You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects meet performance, quality, budget, and timeline expectations. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport development teams with RFPs, RFIs, and technical submissionsLead electrical design delivery from concept through to constructionReview contractor designs to identify risks, gaps, and non-conformancesSpecify and evaluate electrical equipment aligned to client requirementsProvide technical oversight throughout the design and delivery lifecycleCollaborate with vendors, consultants, and contractorsEnsure compliance with performance standards and project specificationsContribute to optimisation, efficiency, and continuous improvement post-deliveryManage design coordination, approvals, and stakeholder engagementSupport feasibility and due diligence for new developmentsMentor junior team members and contribute to team developmentAbout YouDegree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s)10+ years’ experience in electrical/building services design within data centersStrong understanding of data center infrastructure and BOD designExperience leading projects across RFQ/RFP processes and multi-disciplinary teamsKnowledge of electrical protection and grading studiesProven experience managing contractors, consultants, and vendor relationshipsStrong commercial awareness and negotiation skillsExperience with hyperscale or colocation environments is highly desirableWhy Consider This Role?Work on cutting-edge, large-scale data center developmentsJoin a high-performing, collaborative engineering environmentOpportunity to influence technical standards and project deliveryBe part of a business focused on innovation and sustainable infrastructureReady to Elevate Your Career?Send your resume or inquire confidentially: harry.hannan@mackinnon-bruce.comVisit our website for more open roles: https://www.mackinnon-bruce.com/job-search/
