District Sales Manager

You'll be responsible for setting the sales strategies and objectives, identifying sales targets, and evaluating the team's sales performance to help us achieve our sales goals. If you're a natural leader who loves exciting challenges with financial incentives, we want to hear from you!Compensation:$45,000 - $50,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Determine our sales strategies and sales objectives to hit our sales goalsEnsure our sales staff achieves their goals by making sales plans for each sales representative, setting individual sales targets, assigning territories, and managing their ongoing training programsMaintain long-lasting customer relationships and manage customer complaints to ensure we are meeting their needsIdentify new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs to keep us growingCounsel your sales team members, evaluate their performance, and offer suggestions for improvementBoost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include in-person cold calling, phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal networkCoordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitabilityEstablish strategies to meet and exceed monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectivesAnalyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targetsDeliver previous and upcoming week's sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales-related expensesQualifications:3+ years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales departmentDisplays a proven track record of sales successExemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skillsCandidates must have a bachelor's degree in business or a similar fieldValid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary for businessExcellent relationship-building and negotiation skillsMinimum of 2 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with 1+ years in a leadership roleProven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growthProficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and sales reporting toolsAbout CompanyAt ARK Hospitality, our vision is to positively impact, and our mission is to raise the bar on what relationships, reputation, and returns mean in hospitality.
