You are Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s Operations Supervisor.Starting salary range is $66,000-83,000.Job DescriptionWHAT YOU'LL DOOversee operations at Baltimore Equipment Processing Center.Lead continuous process improvements to achieve a safe and cost-efficient work environment that meets performance targets.Responsible for promoting a safe work environment for all employees and visitors.Examine accidents, incidents, and near misses to ensure measures are implemented to avert future occurrences.Document and distribute learned lessons and ensure all reports are shared, submitted promptly and correctly.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of current practices and coordinate with leads to ensure organization of daily work for the crew.Foster an environment of positive employee relations and employee involvement.Perform corrective actions as needed.Job RequirementsWHAT YOU'LL NEED3-5 years first line supervisory and employee relations experienceExperience of communication with Customers/OEMs on assembly/quality/operations via in person, over phone/text/emailExperience of communication with Vendors/Technicians for High & Heavy machinesExperience leading continuous process improvementsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel software applicationsA valid driver’s licenseAble to operate/drive heavy equipment/machineryAbout YouYou’re a collaborative leader with a background in operationsYou enjoy a challenging fast paced environmentYou are not afraid to have fun!WHEN YOU JOIN USAt Wallenius Wilhelmsen, we prioritize your well-being.
