You'll learn to translate field data and engineering principles into accurate, construction‐ready job plans that meet customer standards. With guidance from senior engineers, you will build a strong technical foundation and progress toward independent project ownership.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFULABET‐accredited degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical EngineeringEIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license a plusPrior field experience preferredStrong analytical and problem‐solving skillsEffective communication skillsCAD experience (AutoCAD or MicroStation) a plusAuthorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipHOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTMaintain a safe working environment during both office and field assignmentsGather and analyze field and technical data to support distribution designDevelop cost‐effective designs aligned with utility standardsAssist in permitting coordination with municipalitiesSupport construction teams to resolve design questionsParticipate in field work as required to support design developmentCommunicate effectively with project teamsManage time efficiently to meet project benchmarksOther duties as assignedFIELD WORK DISCLAIMERApplicants must be comfortable performing field work as needed.
