Senior Estimator 📍 Downtown Chicago, IL (Hybrid: 3 days in-office / 2 remote) 🏗️ Fully Integrated Developer (Dev | Design | Construction)We’re partnered with one of Chicago’s most respected and forward-thinking developers to add a Senior Estimator to their team. With roughly $100M in annual revenue and a growing pipeline of multi-family and high-rise developments, they’re entering a phase where early-stage cost leadership is critical-and that’s where you come in.Unlike a traditional GC setup, this firm operates as a fully integrated platform, meaning you’ll work directly with development and design teams in-house, influencing projects from day one-not just pricing them after the fact.You’ll be based out of a brand-new downtown Chicago office, with a hybrid schedule and all projects located locally (no travel required).What You’ll Be Doing:Build conceptual budgets and feasibility models for upcoming developmentsPartner with development and design teams to guide scope, design, and cost decisions earlyPrepare detailed estimates, takeoffs, and GMPs as projects progressManage subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and scope alignmentProvide value engineering and cost strategy recommendationsTrack market trends and pricing to keep projects competitive and realisticWhat They’re Looking For:7–12+ years of estimating experience (GC or developer background)Strong experience with multi-family and/or high-rise constructionComfortable working in both conceptual and hard bid environmentsSomeone who enjoys collaboration and being embedded in the early phases of a projectStrong understanding of cost drivers, materials, and construction methodsWhat You’ll Get:💰 $120,000 – $150,000 base salary🌴 Unlimited PTO (15-day minimum encouraged)🏥 Strong healthcare benefits💼 401(k) with company match🏢 Brand-new downtown Chicago office🏠 Hybrid schedule (3 in / 2 remote)📍 All projects local to ChicagolandThis is a great fit for someone who wants to move beyond just “pricing jobs” and step into a role where you’re actively shaping what gets built and how it gets built.
