Senior Java Full Stack DeveloperLocation: Austin, TX – Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)Contract Duration: 10 monthsStart Date: October 15, 2026Only W2 candidates preferred!About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to support enterprise applications for our client Java-based web applications across the backend, frontend, API, and database layers.You will work as part of a collaborative development team responsible for implementing application enhancements, resolving defects, developing technical solutions, and following established development and coding standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and debug enterprise Java applications.Implement new features and resolve application defects.Develop and maintain backend services using Java 17/21, Spring, and Hibernate.Develop and maintain web interfaces using JSF and JavaScript.Develop and integrate REST and SOAP web services using XML and JSON.Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries and work with relational databases.Participate in application design, development, testing, and implementation activities.Analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions.Follow established coding standards, development methodologies, and agency guidelines.Create and maintain technical and application documentation.Collaborate with other developers and technical team members and provide technical guidance when needed.Required Qualifications8+ years of professional programming/software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or Java 21.Experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate.Strong SQL/PLSQL development experience.Experience developing web applications using JSF.Strong JavaScript experience.Experience developing and integrating REST and SOAP APIs.Experience working with XML and JSON.Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience with PrimeFaces.Experience with multi-threaded Java applications.Experience working with enterprise or government applications.Experience troubleshooting and supporting existing production applications.Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring to junior developers.Work LocationAustin, Texas – HybridCandidates must be able to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remotely at the Austin office.Contract DetailsDuration: 10 monthsExpected Start: October 15, 2026Work Arrangement: HybridHours: Approximately 166 hours/monthIf you have strong enterprise Java development experience and are interested in working on large-scale applications involving Java, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, APIs, and SQL/PLSQL, we would like to hear from you.PriceSenz is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
