The role is responsible for coordinating department operations, supporting capital improvement initiatives, managing resources, and ensuring efficient and compliant service delivery.Key responsibilities include:Supporting oversight of parks, facilities, and recreational programsSupervising staff and ensuring effective team performanceAssisting with budget development, monitoring, and resource allocationCoordinating facility operations, maintenance, and capital projectsEvaluating programs and identifying opportunities for improvementCollaborating with community groups, stakeholders, and City leadershipQualificationsExperience in parks and recreation operations, facility management, or related fieldStrong leadership and staff supervision experienceExperience with budgeting and operational oversightAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsBachelor’s degree in Parks & Recreation, Public Administration, or related field
