This role is critical in ensuring optimal performance of machinery, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain automation systems, including PLCs, actuators, sensors, and roboticsTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues in real timePerform preventive maintenance on automated equipmentAssist engineers with system upgrades, testing, and commissioningSupport production teams by quickly resolving equipment failuresMaintain documentation of system changes, repairs, and maintenance logsEnsure compliance with safety standards and proceduresQualifications2+ years of technician experience in industrial automation or manufacturing Experience wiring control cabinetsExperience with machine tools: Drill Press, Band saw, MillStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentPreferred SkillsExperience with robotics (e.g., Denso, FANUC, ABB, UR)Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings3d printingCNC
