Building Maintenance Technician

Job Description We are looking for a dependable, experienced Building Maintenance Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance at Audi Sarasota, a proud Sunset Automotive Group dealership. This position includes a mix of general maintenance and light janitorial duties to support a clean, professional environment for customers and employees.Maintenance Technician ResponsibilitiesPerform routine building maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry)Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report issues as neededMaintain showroom, service workshops, offices, restrooms, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum, use of automatic ride on floor cleaning machine, dust, and empty trashClean glass surfaces, doors, and high-traffic areasRestock restroom and breakroom suppliesAssist with exterior upkeep including entrances and parking areasCoordinate with vendors for larger repairs when necessaryFollow all safety procedures and company standardsQualificationsPrevious maintenance and janitorial experience preferred (1–3 years)Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)Ability to use hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and reliabilityAbility to work independently and manage time efficientlyPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsStanding, walking, bending, and climbing throughout the shiftScheduleFull-timeMonday–FridayPay & BenefitsPay commensurate with experienceBenefits available (health insurance, PTO, etc.)Company-provided uniformsStable, professional work environmentWhy Join Us?Work in a clean, modern dealership environmentBe part of a professional and team-oriented workplaceOpportunity for long-term employmentSunset Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace.
