Manufacturing Engineer | Carson, CA | AerospaceA well-established aerospace manufacturer in Carson is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve production in a regulated AS9100 environment.This role is ideal for someone with strong recent aerospace manufacturing experience who can bring both solid shop-floor fundamentals and a modern mindset around process improvement, tooling/fixtures, work instructions, and practical automation.What you’ll do:Improve manufacturing processes for aerospace parts and assembliesCreate and maintain routers, travelers, work instructions, and process documentationPartner with Engineering on DFM/DFA effortsLead continuous improvement initiatives tied to cycle time, scrap, flow, and throughputTroubleshoot production issues and drive corrective actionsSupport tooling/fixture development and production readinessWork cross-functionally with Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and EngineeringWhat they’re looking for:3-5 years of recent aerospace manufacturing experienceStrong shop-floor process knowledge in a regulated environmentExperience improving work instructions, process flow, and production documentationHands-on problem solver who can identify issues and implement practical fixesComfortable in AS9100-driven manufacturingNice to have:Lean / Six Sigma toolsTooling and fixture experienceTime studies, capacity planning, cycle-time optimizationBasic CAD familiarityIf you have recent aerospace manufacturing experience and have successfully improved cost, quality, throughput, safety, or cycle time, I’d love to connect.
