Manager, Product Development

Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for leading/performing the evaluation of opportunities and leading research of new products/services, product enhancements and product re-design. Evaluate potential and practicality through the analysis, design, development, and documentation of all development opportunities.Responsible for the ultimate commercial launch of all product development initiatives as identified.What You'll Do Lead development or delivery of approved projects supporting all consumer capabilities and lines of coverage including, but not limited to, consumer engagement, core health, and ancillary offer developmentResponsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of product design or delivery documents developed by the product development teamOversee projects, processes and performance reports including ensuring that agreed upon milestones are met and project gate checks are performed as prescribed in a timely, accurate mannerEnsures that product roadmaps are created and maintained to support the maturity of the capabilities in collaboration with the product stakeholders and delivery teamsSequence and prioritize dependent capabilities across consumer engagement and product offersEvaluate and identify project dependencies to ensure alignment; diagnose, solution and communicate change requests as neededServe as the conduit related to timely and accurate information exchange and updates with the PMO, Transformation Office, and business owners to track and report on project delivery, monitor scope, budget and shared corporate resource hoursDevelop corporate wide communications regarding project status, deliverables and visionExperience working in Agile environments with knowledge of both the Product Manager and Product Owner rolesStrong understanding of Call Center metrics and functions with a digital and AI focusExperience with Salesforce and Genesys, specifically project work that relates to integration of the products and capability roadmaps with feature implementationWhat You Bring* Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) * 8+ years of experience in related field. * In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.Additional Skills Desired 5+ years of people leadership5+ years of Agile experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Scrum MasterDemonstrated Operational Strategy ExperienceFamiliarity with Call Center strategy and metricsSalary Range At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed.
