Job Description Job Title: Epic HIM AnalystLocation: Houston, TXJob Type: ContractPosition Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Epic HIM (Health Information Management) Analyst to support clinical documentation and health information workflows within a healthcare environment. This role focuses on the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic HIM modules, ensuring accurate chart completion, coding processes, deficiency tracking, and release of information (ROI) workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, build, and maintain Epic HIM modulesSupport workflows related to chart completion, coding, deficiency tracking, and release of informationCollaborate with HIM staff, coders, clinicians, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancementsEnsure data integrity, documentation accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standardsPerform system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)Troubleshoot system issues and workflow inefficienciesAssist with system upgrades, enhancements, and go-live supportDevelop and maintain documentation for system configurations and workflowsProvide ongoing support and training to end usersRequired QualificationsEpic HIM Certification (required)3+ years of experience supporting Epic HIM or health information management systemsStrong understanding of HIM workflows, including coding, chart completion, and ROI processesExperience with system build, configuration, and testingKnowledge of healthcare documentation standards and compliance requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience working in hospital or large healthcare environmentsFamiliarity with coding standards (ICD-10, CPT) and regulatory requirementsExperience supporting Epic upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiativesAbout Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
