Polymer Chemist/ Lab technician

Job Location: 18930 W 78th Street, Chanhassen, MN 55317Position Type: 12 Months Contract with possible extension Pay Rate $30/hr on w2 with benefits Qualifications:• B.Sc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field• Hands on laboratory experience handling chemicals and various mixing and dispensing equipment• Mechanical aptitude, technical troubleshooting and problem-solving• Good communication skills• Experience with MS Office suite and other common technical software packages Responsibilities:• Support senior scientific staff on assigned projects• Perform laboratory experiments and testing• Record, organize and communicate results/data from experiments and testing• Maintain laboratory and storage areas, as well as equipment• Be a role player on 5S and Lab Safety programs for Product Development• Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies
