HM is also open to materials experience in automotive, consumer electronics, or textiles for performance apparelEducation requirements: Bachelors or equivalent experienceMust have skills:Able to be confident in decision making for materials and their performance ability, strong process for ideation, can explain how they can make decisions, pushes for innovationExperience with Textile and decorative materials, synthetics, polyurethanes, or TPUs (plastic part of the shoe sole)Nice to have skills:Understands manufacturing impacts on design choices, knows what materials manufacture well, is comfortable sending communications to manufacturing, knows how footwear is produced, can design within a cost restraint and structureUnderstands trends, sees trends and can translate them into a nuanced version, makes trends and inspiration their ownEnjoys a fast paced environment, high level communication, can take criticism well, actively seeks out information and peers, can work well with external teams, highly collaborative Portfolio:Storytelling,layout is easy to understand, clear beginnings and ends of the project and their impact Has examples of collaborative projects and is able to explain what they had an impact on, can confidently speak to their work because of this...
