The U.S. Department of State (Department), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Executive Director/Information Technology (EX/IT) has a requirement for an IT Business Analyst. The purpose of this task order is to provide professional service personnel to support the OIG Office of the Executive Director, IT Operations Directorate, through subject matter expertise with project management for large complex projects related to EX/IT's mission-centric approach to IT operations focused on customer service, collaboration, and innovation.Job DutiesManage full lifecycle of assigned IT projectsWork closely with all teams including team members, stakeholders and vendors as directed by Chief Information Officer (CIO) or designate to capture all projects in EX/ITCreate and keep up to date project plans and document project tasks, timeframes, milestones, deliverables, and dates of completionMaintain and keep up to date, project plans, operational task tracking lists using various tools as directedManage operational tasks in addition to tasks for established projectsCollaborate with IT budget staff and other offices in EX as requiredInterface with other OIG offices by attending meetings and reaching out to established contactsGather, ensure the completeness and accuracy of, and provide trend analysis on program and project dataCreate standard operating procedures and other technical documentationRequirementsFive years of project analyst experience, preferably with federal government agencies/departments with Information Technology projectsFive years of experience planning, supervising, and managing software applications development, maintenance, and migration efforts; network engineering, implementation, and maintenance projects; business reengineering; or other assignments relevant to the project or requirement. Three years of experience successfully working with cross-functional IT and non-IT teams and team membersThree years of experience using Microsoft Office 365 such as SharePoint Online, Power Automate Flow, Teams, Lists
