This is a position for a Journeyman Electrician with a current Oregon General Electrical License. Critical review of solar and electrical plansets for estimating, material takeoffs, installation and commissioning purposes. Work collaboratively on-site with the Installation Foreman and/or crew lead to complete solar installations within specified labor budgets. Required Skills: Valid and current Oregon Journeyman Electrician License. Thorough knowledge of the NEC - along with the ability to navigate the guidelines Understanding of wire and conduit sizing and all applicable factors Ability to read and interpret basic one line drawings and basic electrical schematics Capacity to perform the physical aspects of electrical work such as lifting 70 pounds, standing or crouching, ladder etiquette, common sense, and basic electrical duties.
