Role OverviewSenior/Lead Backend Engineer is responsible for leading a team of offshore engineers (DEV and QA) and being available during mostOnshore EST timings. Role includes becoming a bridge between the dev team and the onshore business team. Role includes hands-ondevelopment (programming) on all backend technologies. Good knowledge of Java, Spring and SpringBoot, MySQL and AWSArchitecture.Key ResponsibilitiesBecoming the bridge between dev team and business teamDebug issues that arise during onshore timeConverting legacy applications into micro-services hosted in AWS.Leading the dev team by writing quality code, reviewing pull requests, and setting coding standards.Strong Database skills in MYSQLExperience working in AWS architectureRequired QualificationsJava/MySQL, Spring, SpringBoot and AWS skillsMinimum of 6 years’ experience in programmingServed as dev lead at least for a yearPreferred QualificationsDocker and Azure DevOps knowledge
