Since ourinception in 2024, TPCN has expanded through multiple acquisitions and is known for deliveringsuperior service to both residential and commercial customers.Position Summary:The Senior Accountant will assist in the daily accounting operations, ensuring timely andaccurate financial reporting. Reporting to the Controller, this role is key to supporting the financedepartment's mission of maintaining accurate financial records, providing insightful analysis, andensuring strong internal controls.Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements including income statements,balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciling balancesheet accounts. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Oversee accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes, ensuringtimely payment to vendors and cash collection from customers. Coordinate intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliation and relatedjournal entries. Maintain schedules and reconciliations for prepaids, fixed assets, and inventory. Assist in the application, renewal, and management of business licenses, contractorlicenses, and permits across all company locations. Ensure timely submission and compliance with all regulatory requirements for licensing. Maintain accurate records of all licensing documents and ensure accessibility foroperational needs. Support the Controller in managing weekly cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, andtransaction oversight. Participate in the semi-annual physical inventory planning, execution, and reconciliation. Assist in maintaining accurate job costing records, supporting proper percentage ofcompletion accounting for ongoing projects. Aid in cash management, supporting daily cash flow analysis and 13-week cashforecasting. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure tracking. Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls tosafeguard company assets. Assist in the preparation for external audits and coordinate with auditors as required. Support the Controller in driving process automation initiatives and improving theefficiency of finance operations. Participate in the integration of acquired companies into the financial reporting system(likely Oracle NetSuite). Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support senior management’s decision-making. Provide financial analysis related to labor, pricing, and profitability trends. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Maintain and adhere to documented financial and operational procedures.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting. Experience in construction or mechanical service accounting is highly desirable. Knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and contractor accounting methodologies (jobcosting, inventory, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks) is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
