Associate Professor- Orthopedic Surgery

Orthopedic SurgeonThe purpose of this position is to provide faculty support to meet the teaching, research and patient care needs of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation and assist in fulfilling UTMB's threefold mission. This position will specialize in diagnosing and treating patients with joint disorders. The individual will also be responsible for training residents and medical students. The individual will provide services primarily at the Galveston and League City Clinic. Candidate should be a graduate of an accredited medical school, have completed an ACGME approved residency training program as an orthopedic surgeon with interest and training in total joint surgery, and be eligible for a Texas Medical license without restrictions. Total joint experience/training Salary: Commensurate with experience.
