Landscape Technician

The Landscape Technician will work as part of a crew performing either landscape maintenance or landscape project activities. LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CREW Mowing, edging, weed-eating, bed detail, debris removal and other such horticultural duties fall under their purview. The Landscape Technician will perform various facets of landscaping and routine maintenance on commercial and/or residential properties. They perform equipment operation and other landscape maintenance tasks to ensure the property under their charge is well-maintained. Duties will include, but not limited to: Ensure landscape quality standards are met or exceeded daily Execute landscape maintenance as needed on commercial/residential properties Operating commercial riding and push mowers, as well as gas powered equipment Working efficiently to ensure that daily quotes are met and maintenance appointments are completed Routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work trucks Clean up and organization of workshop LANDSCAPE PROJECT CREW Mulching, pruning, sod and plant installs, hardscaping, drainage and irrigation fall under their purview. The Landscape Technician will perform various facets of landscape projects to fulfill project scopes to ensure that both labor and material targets are met. Duties will include, but not limited to: Ensure landscape quality standards are met or exceeded daily Trimming and pruning of shrubs and other plant material Mulching beds Landscape renovation, including shrub, turf and tree removals and installation Minor irrigation system repairs and routine checks Hardscape and drainage installation and modifications Routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work trucks Clean up and organization of workshop REQUIREMENTS This job requires a minimum of 40 hours per week despite weather conditions and a maximum of 55 hours per week. The person in this position is expected to report to work Monday –Friday by 7:00 am EST. Start times may be later and will be communicated by the General Manager. In addition, this job will occasionally require Saturday work, depending on demand and weather conditions. 1-2 Years Experience in Landscaping or Related Field Reliable & willingness to work Positive attitude & works well in a team Valid South Carolina Driver's License Reliable means of transportation Able to lift 50 lbs.
