Senior Landscape Designer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Designer to lead high-end residential design-build projects with direct ownership of client engagement, design development, and project closure.This is a hybrid design and sales role — not a pure design position. The ideal candidate is a confident, client-facing professional who can guide homeowners through the full lifecycle of a project, from the initial consultation through concept development, presentation, and signed agreement.You will play a direct role in driving revenue, generating backlog for installation teams, and creating exceptional outdoor living environments for estate-level residential clients.ResponsibilitiesMeet with homeowners and estate-level clients to understand project goals, design vision, lifestyle needs, and budget expectationsDevelop custom residential landscape concepts, outdoor living spaces, and detailed site layouts tailored to each clientCreate polished 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations that clearly communicate design intentLead client presentations and consultative sales conversations with confidence and professionalismClose high-end residential landscape projects typically ranging from $50K–$100K+ in valueGenerate consistent project backlog by converting active opportunities into signed contractsManage multiple active client opportunities while maintaining responsiveness and high service standardsCollaborate closely with installation and field teams to ensure accurate execution of the approved design visionContribute to ongoing improvements in design processes, customer experience, and sales performanceRequirements5+ years of experience in residential landscape design or design-build environmentsProven track record successfully selling and closing residential landscape or outdoor living projectsExperience working with high-end residential or estate-level clientele requiredStrong proficiency in landscape design software with advanced 3D modeling and rendering capabilitiesExcellent client-facing, presentation, and consultative sales skillsAbility to independently manage the full project lifecycle from consultation through signed agreementComfortable being measured on revenue production, project conversion, and backlog generationResidential design-build background required — commercial-only experience will not be consideredStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyBenefitsCompetitive base salary plus commission and performance-based bonus opportunitiesHealth insurance and benefits packageRetirement plan optionsPaid time offDirect impact on company growth, revenue generation, and project pipeline development
