Daycare Worker for Pre K
Preschool Teacher
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool-aged children
- Create a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Monitor and assess children's progress and development
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and educational needs of each child are met
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and progress
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Prepare materials and resources for daily lessons and activities
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain a clean and organized classroom
Skills:
- Special education experience or training is preferred
- Experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child
- Knowledge of early intervention techniques for identifying developmental delays or concerns
- Familiarity with physical education activities suitable for preschool-aged children
