Project Engineer

Job DescriptionA well-established and reputable Commercial General Contractor in the Milwaukee, WI area is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning and execution of complex commercial construction projects across industrial, healthcare, education, corporate, and institutional sectors.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who's eager to grow within a collaborative, high-performing environment focused on safety, quality, and long-term success.Key Responsibilities:Support Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordinationReview and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittalsTrack and manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentationAssist in subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and cost trackingMaintain accurate records for project progress and reportingCollaborate with field teams to ensure quality, safety, and efficiencyCommunicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partnersParticipate in meetings, progress updates, and closeout proceduresQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field1-5 years of experience in commercial construction (internships included)Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and materialsProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsTeam-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to take initiativeCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary with performance-based incentives401(k) with company matchComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverageProfessional development and advancement opportunitiesA culture that values teamwork, integrity, and work-life balanceIf you are interested in this position apply online or submit your resume and project list to Julie.lee@gogpac.com.
