CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Call Center Representative in Salem, Virginia. The Call Center Representative is responsible for delivering high quality customer service by interacting with contacts by phone, email and live chat. The Representative provides information and generates interest in CMCo products and services; accesses customer needs and conducts follow up interviews as needed to deliver outstanding service. Seeking candidates with a minimum three years experience in a professional customer service or call center environment; High school diploma or equivalent required; Sales experience a plus.Requirements for the Call Center Representative include:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Must be able to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software with the ability to learn web-based products such as Salesforce.Promote a positive customer experience.Uphold the Core Values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence and Teamwork by embracing The Carter Way.Physical requirements must be met for the Call Center Representative including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear.
