We provide professional medical services in the home of our patients. ACSA medical team is supportive, compassionate, and attentive. Our patients receive skilled medical care as needed on a weekly basis according to frequency and discipline.Job ResponsibilitiesPromote and maintain physical health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapistContributes to a physical therapist's effectiveness by identifying patient care needsCollaborates with ACSA medical team to develop and administer treatment plans for patientsDocuments patient care services using Axxess softwarePerforms therapeutic procedures by using manual exercisesHelps patients in using supportive devices to gain maximum independenceFollows Agency policies and proceduresUpdates job knowledge by participating in company educational assignmentsParticipates in company meetings for comprehensive careMakes recommendations for optimal patient careWork EnvironmentPTAs will visit patients in their home to provide servicesBending, stooping, climbing stairs as neededAssisting patients with ambulation and mobility as neededDriving to patients home for scheduled visitsComplete documentation for all assigned visitsPTAs have the flexibility to create their own scheduleQualificationsPhysiological knowledge and educationHealth promotion and maintenanceCreate a safe, effective environment within the patient's homeOrganization skillsPhysical therapy administrationDocumentation skillsListening and verbal communicationEducation and RequirementsAssociate degree for physical therapy assistantPTA license or certificationKnowledge of Home Health Care environmentMust have an active drivers licenseMust have a reliable vehiclePlease note that this is a 100% per diem position.
