Research Associate ILocation: South San Francisco, CA 94080 (Onsite)Employment Type: W2 Contract (3-Year Contract with possibility for extension)Overview: BEPC is seeking a motivated Research Associate to join a cutting-edge Synthetic Molecule Analytical Chemistry team supporting drug discovery and development. This role focuses on the research, characterization, and analysis of drug substances, including small molecules, peptides, and oligonucleotides. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced R&D environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform research and analytical characterization of synthetic drug substances and delivery systemsDevelop and optimize chiral and achiral HPLC methods to support research objectivesExecute analytical studies using UHPLC-MS, multidimensional HPLC, GC, KF, UV, and CADDocument experiments, analyze data, and prepare technical reports and summariesTroubleshoot methods and support ongoing research initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including drug discovery, pharmaceutics, and process chemistryEvaluate and implement new analytical technologies to advance research capabilitiesMaintain accurate and compliant laboratory recordsContribute to project goals within a multidisciplinary R&D teamQualifications:BS or MS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Chemical Engineering, or related field1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or analytical research environmentsStrong understanding of analytical chemistry principlesHands-on experience with HPLC and chromatography techniquesAbility to interpret and communicate scientific data effectivelyStrong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented research environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech research settingsExposure to drug discovery, solid-state characterization, or pharmaceuticsFamiliarity with advanced analytical instrumentationContract Details:Pay Rate: $45.00 – $48.28/hour (based on experience)Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (PT)Duration: 3-year contract with potential for extensionWork Type: W2 contract only (C2C and C2H will not be considered)Fully onsite role in a laboratory/R&D settingCollaborative, multidisciplinary team environmentExposure to advanced analytical technologies and instrumentationAbout BEPC: BEPC Inc., founded in 2007, is a 100% employee-owned company providing top-tier consulting and staffing solutions across industries like technology, engineering, manufacturing, and project management.
