Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Restaurant Accountant!We are looking for a Senior Restaurant Accountant who will play a vital role in managing our periodic inventory and accounts receivable subsystem. This position will involve active participation in third-party delivery reporting and reconciliation while serving as a key liaison between our organization and delivery partners. You will lead utility accrual processes and assist in the inventory management process, contributing to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:Guide and support accountants in periodic inventory accounting. Assist in balance sheet reconciliation and lead the closing process for restaurant accounting. Manage the utility accrual process and ensure the accurate posting of related expenses to restaurants. Oversee the collection of third-party receivable activity and ensure recognition of related fees in the Customer Accounts system. Allocate costs accurately to various cost centers. Assist the manager in training fellow Restaurant Accounting associates. Engage in special projects aimed at improving third-party delivery reporting efficiency and automating processes. Your Background & Experience:Bachelor's degree with required coursework in Accounting; CPA is desirable. 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail or hospitality sector. Successful completion of initial and ongoing training is required. A valid Food Handler's Card must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
