Staff Accountant- Client Accounting Services

B&M Accounting & Tax Service B&M Accounting & Tax Service is seeking a dependable and client-focused Staff Accountant to support our growing Client Accounting Services (CAS) department. This role is ideal for a mid-level accounting professional who is technically strong, hardworking, and comfortable interacting directly with business owners. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of monthly accounting responsibilities and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented firm. Key Responsibilities Manage monthly and quarterly accounting for multiple business clients Perform account reconciliations and month-end close Prepare accurate and timely financial statements Maintain and troubleshoot QuickBooks Online files Communicate directly with clients regarding financial results and questions Identify process improvements and maintain clean accounting records Collaborate with internal tax team to ensure smooth year-end transitions Assist with financial analysis and support advisory/CFO services as needed Qualifications 3–6 years of accounting experience (public accounting or CAS preferred) Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously Solid understanding of GAAP principles Excellent communication and organizational skills CPA license or CPA candidate strongly preferred What We’re Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable communicating directly with business owners Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of responsibilities Why Join B&M Accounting & Tax Service?
