This is a greenfield opportunity to architect and build modern, scalable services from the ground up using cutting-edge technologies and design principles.You'll be working on a strategic re-architecture initiative, moving from legacy systems to a modern modular monolith architecture. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the technical foundation of systems that directly impact our core business operations while exploring opportunities to automate and optimize to technical decisions around tooling, frameworks, and system designDevelopment & ImplementationWrite high-quality, maintainable code across the stack (our current stack is Java, Spring Boot, and ensure code quality and system reliabilityParticipate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high standardsWrite clean, well-documented code following solid engineering experienceStrong programming fundamentals and experience building production systemsBackend development experience with languages like Java, Python, Go, C#, or similarFrontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar)Deep understanding of software design principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS) and common design patternsExperience designing and implementing RESTful APIsFamiliarity with relational databases and data modelingExperience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practicesPassion for learning and staying current with technology trends and best practicesStrong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinkingExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
