Financial Controller
We’re Hiring!Fullmer Construction in Ontario, CA is seeking an experienced, relationship-focused Financial Controller to join our leadership team. This role oversees all accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and construction-specific financial management.Responsibilities• Oversee AP, AR, payroll oversight, general ledger, insurance, and job cost accounting• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships• Coordinate reviews, audits, and tax filings with external auditors• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations• Oversee insurance compliance and audit requirements• Support and mentor accounting staff• Provide financial insight to senior leadership to support strategic decisions Education & Experience Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field• 7–8 years of construction controller experience required• Strong knowledge of construction accounting (WIP reporting & revenue recognition)• Proficiency with Sage CRE and advanced Excel• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills General Schedule• Monday–Friday• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Benefits• 401(k) with company matching• Medical, dental, and vision insurance• Life insurance• Company cell phone & laptop• Paid Time Off Pay Range(DOE)All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
