Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminium manufacturing solutions.Position Responsibilities:Responsible for synchronization of a supply chain for obtaining goods and services for the company. Interfacing with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure quality products, capital and services are delivered to the right place at the right time.Performs all the following:Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.Experience managing suppliers and negotiations independentlyAbility to operate cross-functionally in a manufacturing environmentDevelops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates and awards contracts, and manages post award supplier activities.Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers.Manages inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier performance.Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning. Incorporates planning decisions from customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability and arrive at optimal solutions.Cross-Functional Focal Responsibilities:Lead supplier onboarding processes ensuring compliance and system setup accuracyOwn NDA coordination and tracking in partnership with LegalSupport HR-related services procurement and contract labor governanceCoordinate capital procurement initiatives, ensuring financial and approval alignmentPartner with MR&D teams to align sourcing strategies with development timelinesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):* 6-9 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related field* High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience supporting capital procurementStrong data analysis skills in excelKnowledge or experience in manufacturing and manufacturing processes is advantageousFamiliarity with MRP Systems, with preference given to SAP experienceBachelor's degree in finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experienceUnion:This is a union-represented positionDrug Free Workplace:We are a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:We strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
