Director Of Product ManagementMy client is expanding and seeks a Director of Product Management. The ideal candidate will own P&L, drive commercialization, and serve as strategic voice of the customer in the life sciences research market. This person will take on the following key responsibilities:Strategic LeadershipDefine product strategy, roadmap, and business cases for instruments and software portfolioOwn P&L with accountability for revenue and growth targetsLead voice of customer research and market intelligenceBuild and mentor product management teamProduct DevelopmentCollaborate with R&D and Engineering to define product requirements and specificationsDrive hardware-software integration and user experience excellenceDefine technical roadmaps and address cybersecurity for connected platformsExperience with optical detection systems, fluidics, or laboratory automation preferredCommercial ExecutionDevelop positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategiesDrive product launches, sales enablement, and competitive analysisPartner with Sales, Marketing, and Field teams on customer engagementManage regulatory compliance (FDA, CE, ISO 13485)QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or Life Sciences, advanced degree preferred10+ years in product management for life sciences capital equipment/software5+ years people management experienceProven P&L ownership and successful product launchesDeep understanding of analytical instruments and laboratory softwareStrong strategic planning, financial modeling, and communication skillsTravel 20-25%This role is based in Maryland.
