Position Title: Power Platform DeveloperPosition Status: 12-month contract with rolling extensionsSchedule: HYBRIDOverview: Our client is looking for a Power Platform Developer for a HYBRID position based out of Richmond, VA ResponsibilitiesA Power Platform Developer is needed to design, develop, and implement solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to create custom business applications. This includes, but is not limited to developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining custom automations using the Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps. Work with agency Finance and other IT staff to implement an automated invoice processing solution using the Power Platform. Develop dashboards using Power BI. Design and build tailored apps for specific business processes and workflows. Automate repetitive tasks and business processes. Build approval workflows, data collection from forms, and notification systems. Design and implement data models using MS Dataverse. Build connectors to integrate external data sources. Create intuitive user interfaces using Power Apps canvas. Incorporate AI models for tasks like text recognition. Embed Power BI reports and dashboards within Power Apps. Create interactive data visualizations and analytics tools. Requirements5 Years – Experience creating automated workflows using Power Platform. 5 Years – Experience to define, architect, and implement solutions with Power Platform. 5 Years – Understanding PowerApps formulas and development methods to develop canvas and model driven apps. 3 Years – Ability to automate workflows and set up activities across various services using cloud flows and desktop flows. 3 years – Understanding of Dataverse and SharePoint for data integration and management across Power Platform applications. 3 Years – Ability to solve a problem using critical thinking, including assessment of existing processes to determine feasibility of automation. 3 Years – Ability to diagnose and correct programming errors. 3 Years – Ability to work with other team members on design of software systems. 2 Years – Experience using standard and premium connectors within the Power Platform.
