Safety CoordinatorSafety DepartmentAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our Safety team on our project in Reno, Nevada. This is a full-time, in-person position.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with executing Holder's safety strategy and zero-accident culture on assigned projects.Monitor daily construction activities for compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.Implement the project's safety program and ensure adherence to established standards.Teach on-site safety classes, including fall protection, excavation and confined space, scaffolding, electrical safety, OSHA-10, and OSHA-30 hour training.QualificationsRequired:3-5 years of commercial construction safety experience.Formal safety training, including OSHA 500 in construction and competency in scaffolding, crane management, steel erection, emergency response, fall management, excavation and confined space, rigging, hazardous waste, and erosion control.Ability to identify and correct safety deficiencies in the field.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with a general contractor preferred.Preferred:* Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field.* Professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHSP).Safety CoordinatorSafety DepartmentAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our Safety team on our project in Reno, Nevada.
