Software Testing/ Validation Engineer - MBSE

Next-Generation Vehicle EngineerWe are seeking a highly technical engineer to lead the definition, architecture, and development of next-generation vehicle features from concept through production. This position focuses on early-stage systems engineering and feature development, emphasizing feature ownership, logical architecture, requirements, and engineering decisions.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline.Minimum 3 years of Automotive Systems Engineering experience.Minimum 3 years of Software Engineering experience supporting complex embedded systems.Demonstrated experience writing engineering requirements, functional specifications, and implementation creating DFMEAs, System Boundary Diagrams, and other engineering quality understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model.Experience developing vehicle features from concept through production.Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems including networking, wiring, power distribution, body systems, chassis systems, and CAN collaborating across multiple engineering organizations to resolve complex technical issues.Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDevelop system architectures and define feature behavior.Write engineering requirements and create System Boundary Diagrams.Conduct DFMEAs, verification plans, functional safety assessments, and cybersecurity assessments.Support software implementation using Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies.
