We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our website compliance initiatives, focusing on the review, remediation, and management of PDF documents and multimedia content. This role will play a key part in ensuring our online presence meets accessibility standards and delivers an inclusive experience for all users.Key Responsibilities:Audit approximately 700 PDFs currently hosted on our website to determine relevance (retain, update, or remove as appropriate).Remediate PDF documents to meet accessibility and compliance standards, including the conversion of image-based files to accessible, text-based versions.Coordinate with stakeholders to track the origin and intent of incoming PDFs and evaluate if new documents meet site and compliance requirements.Maintain a clear and consistent process for uploading new PDFs and managing document lifecycle.Review website video content and facilitate the creation and implementation of closed captions for accessibility.Collaborate with internal team members and external vendors as needed to align with long-term website compliance and accessibility objectives.Stay informed on best practices and regulatory changes related to digital content accessibility (e.g., WCAG, ADA).Qualifications:Proven experience with PDF remediation, accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG 2.1), and document compliance.Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and other document accessibility tools.Experience with content management and website compliance projects preferred.Familiarity with closed captioning workflows for video content is a plus.Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
