Pricing SpecialistDepartment: Central Sales DepartmentReporting Location: KCSC (Hybrid Work position)Basic Purpose: The Pricing Specialist position assists in the collection and reconciliation of accounts receivable. It investigates and resolves any issues arising from accounts receivable. The position maintains and tracks pricing PO's received from customers and completes monthly accounts receivable reporting. The Pricing Specialist obtains customers requirements and communicates them to the related department/departments. The position acts as the liaison for customers and is responsible for responding to customer requirements and inquiries in a timely manner. They are also responsible for maintaining a good relationship with current customers as well as expanding SEWS business opportunities.Basic Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in collection and reconciliation of accounts receivableMaintaining and tracking PO's from customers to ensure current prices are used for invoicing and reportingWork closely with customers to investigate and resolve any outstanding paymentsMake necessary adjustments to invoices and paymentsProvide monthly reporting to accounting and business planning to report accurate sales data is being recordedAssist in the development of department standards and proceduresSupport internal cost reduction activities, accounts receivable collections, and other activities as requiredBe detail oriented, able to support others, and lead projects as requiredWork as part of a team to help negotiate and secure future businessPosition Requirements:Bachelor's Degree. 3-5 years experience in automotive industry preferred but not required.Bilingual in Japanese or Spanish helpful but not required.Ability to multi-task, be self-directed, and experience with accounts receivable.Effectively function in a multicultural environment (US and Japanese).
