Senior AI Full-Stack Developer Contract to HireRemote (Must reside in Atlanta, Dallas, or Tampa)Global Web Platforms & Enterprise ApplicationsWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior AI Full-Stack Developer to drive the development of scalable, cloud-native applications supporting global business and enterprise technology platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in complex environments and can balance architecture, delivery execution, and people leadership.You will provide technical direction, mentor engineers, and lead the delivery of high-quality features. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, product owners, and senior leadership to enable business outcomes through modern engineering practices.This role requires experience with AI-enabled development tools and the ability to apply AI technologies to improve software delivery, testing, and engineering efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & ArchitectureLead the design and development of scalable applications supporting global business platforms.Architect modern frontend and backend solutions using React, TypeScript, .NET, and Azure.Design and build microservices using ASP.NET Core / C#.Implement persistence strategies using Cosmos DB, SQL Server, Blob Storage.Develop and host services using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management.Apply Domain Driven Design (DDD) and CQRS patterns to build maintainable, scalable systems.Integrate systems using REST APIs, Service Bus, and event-driven architectures.Champion secure coding practices, resilience, and performance at scale.Leverage AI-enabled development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, MCPs, AI coding agents) to enhance productivity, automate refactoring, and optimize code quality.Guide the adoption of multi-agent coding frameworks and AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate delivery with minimal manual intervention.Delivery & ExecutionDrive the consistent delivery of high-quality features through cross-functional collaboration.Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.Ensure CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automation are properly implemented.Lead delivery within Agile and DevOps environments with a focus on velocity and quality.Promote continuous improvement across engineering processes and architecture.Introduce AI-driven development practices, including spec-driven and test-driven development enhanced by AI tooling.Utilize AI-assisted testing tools such as Playwright, MS Test, Fluent, NUnit, K6, SpecKit, BMAD, etc. to expand automated test coverage and improve quality. Leadership & Team DevelopmentProvide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to engineers.Lead with clarity in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.Promote inclusive leadership across globally distributed teams.Partner with product and business leaders to align engineering strategy with organizational goals.Mentor developers on the effective use of AI development tools, prompt engineering, and best practices for evaluating AI-generated code.Build team competency around emerging AI frameworks, agent platforms, and next-generation CLI toolkits.Contribute thought leadership by introducing new ideas that improve development workflows, automation, and engineering standards.Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required.8+ years of experience in software development and delivery.1+ year of experience in a leadership or managerial role.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Deep expertise in:C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NETAzure Cloud Services (App Services, Functions, API Management)SQL Server and NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB, etc.)REST APIs, microservices architectureSoftware design patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)Hands-on experience with:CI/CD pipelinesGitHub / GitHub ActionsDevOps tools and practicesAbility to manage delivery within a global, matrixed organization.Hands-on experience leveraging AI-enabled development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, etc.) in production environments.Demonstrated experience designing, launching, and guiding AI agents or multi-agent workflows to:Generate and refine technical specificationsPerform AI-assisted code reviewsIdentify and reduce technical debtAccelerate feature delivery and improve engineering efficiencyExperience defining context, prompts, and guardrails to ensure reliable AI-generated outputs within enterprise environments.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration.Experience deploying systems at global scale or in localized environments.Familiarity with Agile, Lean, and Scrum methodologies.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to translate business needs into scalable engineering solutions.Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.Ownership mindset across the full product lifecycle.Proven success delivering enterprise applications at scale.Experience with emerging AI frameworks, development agents, and multi-agent orchestration platforms.Demonstrated ability to evaluate and refine AI-generated code within enterprise environments.What Success Looks LikeTeams consistently deliver high-quality, scalable software.Engineering is seen as a strategic enabler—not just a feature factory.Architecture is modern, cloud-native, resilient, and performant.Engineers grow through mentorship and strong leadership.Stakeholders trust engineering as a long-term partner.AI-assisted and agent-driven development measurably accelerates delivery velocity, improves code quality, and reduces technical debt across teams.LocationRemote role; candidates must be based in one of the following hub cities: Atlanta, Dallas, or TampaAbility to travel quarterly to one of the designated hub locations is required
