Middle School Teacher

The Middle School Teacher's responsibilities include developing and delivering interactive lessons that meet the curriculum requirements, monitoring student progress, and providing academic guidance according to the Indiana Department of Education Academic Standards.Our ideal candidate is passionate about middle-grade education, has a deep understanding of the developmental and educational needs of this age group, and is adept at fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. They must also be willing to learn and teacher fun and interactive Bible lessons for students.Job Responsibilities Include:Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with curriculum objectivesAssess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedbackEstablish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among studentsAdapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interestsCoordinate school projects, field trips, and other experiential activitiesMaintain open lines of communication with parents and provide appropriate feedbackAttend professional development trainings and stay updated with latest teaching methods and regulationsPrepare students for standardized testsJob Qualifications:Proven experience as a middle school teacherBachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related fieldA teaching license or certification to teach in a middle school settingStrong knowledge of teaching methods and educational pedagogyAbility to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleaguesProficiency in classroom technologyStrong organizational and team collaboration skillsPatience and a love for working with children
