Consulting Associate

Position Overview:This role involves identifying and analyzing key trends, policies, and strategies related to U.S. foreign policy. The candidate is expected to have expertise in a variety of topics such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, U.S.-China relations, and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. The Consulting Associate will be responsible for providing strategic insights and delivering detailed reports that support policy development and decision-making.Principal Responsibilities:Monitor U.S. foreign policy developments, with a particular focus on U.S. policies toward Japan, Korea, China, and the Indo-Pacific region.Analyze key aspects of U.S. foreign policy related to the Russia-Ukraine war, U.S.-EU relations, and U.S.-Russia dynamics.Prepare reports, policy briefs, and strategic recommendations, delivering insights on emerging policy trends and implications for U.S. and international stakeholders.Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide comprehensive analysis on policy decisions, offering well-researched predictions on future developments.Qualifications:Broad understanding of U.S. foreign policy issues, particularly in relation to U.S.-China relations, the Indo-Pacific region, and the Russia-Ukraine war.Demonstrated ability to analyze complex policy issues and draft clear, concise reports.Strong research skills, with experience in preparing policy briefs, legislative recommendations, and other advocacy-related documents.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.How to Apply:Interested candidates are encouraged to send their CV and cover letter to info@ophrystalents.com.
