This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in political consulting, campaign operations, communications, and client development. This position is fully remote and unpaid, with flexible scheduling and a commitment of 8-12 hours per week. College credit hours can be arranged. Intern applicants who are able to commit to the entire campaign season (May->November) will have priority consideration, but interns interested in a summer or fall semester commitment will also be considered. Georgia-based interns will have the opportunity to attend in-person events if desired.Interns may assist with:Conducting outreach to campaigns, candidates, nonprofits, and prospective clientsHelping identify and research potential clients and partnership opportunitiesDrafting and assembling service proposals and outreach materialsAssisting with social media content creation and digital communicationsDrafting email content, fundraising copy, and campaign messagingSupporting phonebanking and voter outreach effortsConducting political or district research as neededProviding general campaign and administrative support across client projectsMUST BE COMFORTABLE MAKING PHONE CALLS TO CLIENTS, VOLUNTEERS, & VOTERSIdeal candidates are:Interested in politics, advocacy, communications, or campaignsStrong written communicatorsOrganized and detail-orientedComfortable working independently in a remote environmentFamiliar with social media platforms and basic political/campaign terminologyWilling to learn and take initiativeInterested in progressive politics, democratic campaigns, or social justiceCollege student studying political science, communications, public policy, or a related fieldPrior campaign experience is welcomed but not required.
