This role is pivotal in ensuring that the business functions efficiently, supports the residents and their families, and upholds the highest standards of service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for working in a long-term care setting with seniors.What you'll do:Manage daily operations of the business office, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, monthly billing.Financially pre-qualify prospective residents and review admission documentation ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Maintain resident financial records and assist families with financial inquiries.Supervise accounting assistant, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth office operations and accurate entry of accounts payable and vendor data.Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.Assist with budget preparation, financial and variance reporting and analysis.Process capital requisitions and invoices, managing spend down.Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and team members.Skills You'll Need:Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in office management, preferably in long-term care, continuing care/life plan community or working with seniors or an equivalent of education and experience.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
