Tax Operations and Reporting Manager - Financial Services

Join our diverse teams and take your career to new heights as we strive to build a better working world.Role OverviewAs a Tax Services Manager within our Financial Services Office, you will have the opportunity to focus on U.S. tax information reporting and withholding matters. Working alongside a dedicated group of professionals, you will tackle challenging engagements across various financial service sectors, assisting clients with crucial operational tax issues and customer reporting matters.Join us to make a real difference within our CTOR team, addressing missions related to non-resident alien withholding, FATCA, domestic withholding, cost basis reporting, and global compliance initiatives like the CRS. As you develop in this fast-paced environment, you will become a trusted advisor, learning from some of the most experienced tax professionals in the field.Your Key ResponsibilitiesWork daily with team members and clients on CTOR projects, interpreting IRS Code and regulations.Draft guidance, conduct data analysis, and develop requirements to help clients implement tax rules effectively.Perform gap analyses, assist in writing business requirements, and prepare various documentation including presentations and flow charts.Participate in technical analysis, process improvement initiatives, and respond to client proposals.Support the development of innovative technology solutions and train/manage staff in remote delivery centers.Skills and Attributes for SuccessProficient in reading and interpreting IRS Code, regulations, and instructions.Strong writing skills, particularly in policy and procedure documentation.Excellent ability to interface across different business facets.Proficient in multitasking with strong project management capabilities.Creative problem solver with critical thinking skills.Drive success both as an individual contributor and as a team member.QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax consulting or operations.Licensed attorney, CPA, EA, or certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.What We Look ForWe seek candidates with exemplary organizational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
