Responsibilities & Duties: - Assess and evaluate patient wounds to determine the appropriate course of treatment - Develop and implement individualized wound care plans - Clean and dress wounds, ensuring sterile techniques are followed - Monitor and document patient progress, updating treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients on wound care best practices and infection prevention - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care - Perform debridement and other wound care procedures as required - Conduct regular follow-up appointments to monitor healing and make necessary adjustments to care plans - Adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety standards Qualifications & Skills: - Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) or equivalent certification - Experience in wound care nursing or a related field - Advanced knowledge of wound care treatments and technologies - Ability to perform wound care procedures, including debridem - Knowledge of current wound care research and protocols - Leadership skills for training and mentoring staff Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $50 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
