Learn more at www.turing.comAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Platform & Product Engineering Leader to build, scale, and evolve theThe world-class GenAI training platform, including the large-scale RL environments and data generation systems that train large language models and multimodal agents to improve performance in specialized domains from coding, reasoning, compute use to STEM and more.In this critical role, you will partner cross-functionally with our engineering, product, data science and research teams to design and deliver a highly available, secure, and rapidly deployable platform that fuels innovation at a massive scale.You will lead a team operating horizontally across multiple product verticals, ensuring Turing's foundational systems can scale effectively to meet our exponential growth while maintaining exceptional developer productivity and agility. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical execution, strategic leadership, and a long-term platform vision.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & ExecutionDefine the technical vision and roadmap for verticals in the platform and product teams, ensuring tight alignment with Turing's overall product and company strategy.Anticipate and proactively solve scaling challenges related to our global developer network and AI systems, designing solutions that improve performance, observability, and reliability.Translate complex internal infrastructure and AI/ML needs into actionable platform initiatives and robust architecture improvements.Lead strategic planning sessions with Product, Infrastructure, and AI/ML leads to drive key business outcomes.Team Leadership & CultureManage and mentor a high-performing, geographically distributed teams, fostering a collaborative, highly autonomous, and outcome-driven culture.Provide continuous feedback, coach for high performance, and amplify individual strengths across the team.Partner with the People team to attract, retain, and grow top-tier, global engineering talent for Turing.Champion a culture of engineering excellence, accountability, and innovation across all development teams.Technical DeliveryOversee end-to-end technical execution: design, implementation, testing, and rollout of core platform components.Contribute to technical design reviews and the codebase when necessary, ensuring the highest technical quality and sound architectural choices.Build advanced automation, monitoring, and CI/CD systems that dramatically improve engineering velocity and system reliability across the global platform.Collaborate with Security, Finance, and Operations teams to align on governance, compliance, and cloud cost efficiency.Who You AreA strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives at the intersection of scalable system design and implementation, developer productivity, and rapid company growth.A builder who knows how to balance execution speed with the long-term scalability required for a massive global platform heavily integrated with AI agents.Comfortable navigating ambiguity, identifying system bottlenecks, and creating processes that scale with a fully remote and global team.Data-driven in your approach and deeply passionate about building a strong, world-class engineering culture.RequirementsLocation: Ability to work effectively in a fully remote and globally distributed team environment.Experience:5+ years of proven experience in engineering management and leadership roles, preferably within high-performance, product-driven environments.Extensive experience building and maintaining production infrastructure systems supporting multiple product verticals.Demonstrated success in designing and deploying infrastructure that supports AI/ML capabilities.Hands-on technical expertise in major cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability tools, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across engineering, product, and operations in a remote setting.Bonus PointsExperience working in a rapidly scaling startup or platform-oriented company.Strong understanding of security, compliance, and cost optimization in large-scale cloud environments.Why Join TuringAt Turing, you'll be building the future of work.
