We are seeking an Account Manager to support middle‑market commercial insurance clients by managing renewals, proposals, client relationships, and ongoing service delivery. ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do / Your ImpactClient Partnership & Risk StrategyManage renewal and proposal processes for new and existing middle‑market commercial clientsWork closely with Producers to gather renewal information and prepare client presentationsPerform insurance policy, coverage, and exposure reviews to support client risk management needsStrengthen client relationships through proactive communication and engagementOperational ExcellenceDevelop and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and carrier partnersNegotiate coverage terms on behalf of clients with carriers and service providersAssist clients with claim reporting and provide ongoing claim follow‑up support as neededHandle day‑to‑day service requests, including certificates and time‑sensitive administrative tasksMaintain accurate documentation and client records within internal management systemsStrategic ContributionIdentify and support cross‑selling opportunities across lines of coverageAssist in training and mentoring colleagues to support team effectivenessPursue ongoing personal and professional development to stay current on industry trendsPromote a positive, collaborative work environment aligned with Alera Group valuesQualificationsWhat You BringRequired3+ years of commercial insurance experienceActive Property & Casualty insurance licenseStrong understanding of underwriting and commercial insurance coverageAbility to analyze and clearly communicate insurance coverage detailsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsPreferredInsurance designationsExperience working with agency management systemsCore CompetenciesDetail orientationAccountability and follow‑throughCollaborative mindsetClient‑first thinkingAdditional InformationBenefits -Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401(k), generous PTO, and more.Work Model -This role is HybridProfessional Development – Alera Group AcademyAt Alera Group, growth isn’t left to chance.
