Operations Support In Denver, COWe are seeking an Operations Support in Denver, CO! Weekends required. Wednesdays and Thursdays off. Rotating shifts. Must be available for the following shifts:9am-6pm5am-1:30pm11am-7:30pmExcel experience is required.JOB SUMMARY:The Operations Associate/Support is responsible for controlling freight forwarding shipments into and out of the station across various modes of transportation based on customer requests. The primary focus is providing a high-level operations excellence and a quality customer service experience to all customers while maintaining station KPI's.Essential Functions:Tracking and tracing outbound shipmentsInspecting outbound freightContracting new carriers as needed and assigning carriers and providing load tendersCommunicating freight status and any problems to other stations and customers, and updating the systemProvide customer serviceAble to work overtime and weekend on call rotations.Data entry of shipments into transportation management systemQuoting, costing and invoicing of international shipments, air, ocean and groundDomestic air and ground routing (including Canada)Contract new carriersNegotiate Freight RatesDevelop collaborative carrier relationshipsAssigning carriers and providing load tendersFind and develop new logistics/freight opportunities and design carrier solutions for other Pilot offices and external customersSkills/Competencies:Multi-tasking while maintaining precise attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to type 35+ words per minuteMust be able to work in demanding, high-volume environment, particularly with email and callsPrecise attention to detailProficient in Microsoft productsMust be tech savvyCompany Benefits:MedicalDentalVision401k + Company MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time OffFlexible Work Schedules (when possible)And more!Pay Range:$23-$25 per hour*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
