ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for performing assembly of product according to established specifications and instructions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Gather necessary component parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Operate hand tools to install fasteners, bushings, rivets, and nut plates. Position and secure components per print. Verify specification by measuring completed components. Perform other duties as assigned or requested. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 1-2 years of previous experience, preferred. Ability to read and interpret aerospace bill of materials, engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions. Ability to professionally communicate and work well with others. Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail.
