Technical and Trade SchoolsSteel Product Manufacturing from Purchased SteelCutlery and Handtool ManufacturingOther Wood Product ManufacturingCut and Sew Apparel ManufacturingDESCRIPTION: Responsible for the assemblies of sheet metal and machined aluminum parts per Customers engineering drawings and specifications.RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform visual inspection of manufactured parts and travelerVerify parts, rivets and assembly procedures to travelerConfirm material specifications as given on travelerAssemble to IAW Engineering Drawings and special notesAble to use equipment designed to perform assembliesVerify accuracy of job and workmanship when performing jobsAdhering to quality assurance procedures and processesAccomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for all new and different requestsExplore opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsMeet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and qualityMiscellaneous tasks as assignedEXPERIENCE:Minimum two years experience in an aerospace settingAbility to read blueprints and decipher drawingsREQUIREMENTS:Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing settingMust have reliable transportation and be able to work overtime when neededAbility to read, write and understand EnglishProficient in blue print readingKnowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers, with the ability to calibrate new toolsAbility to stay on task with minimal supervisionStrong communication and problem solving skillsDetail orientedCapable of mixing sealers and weigh sealers on scales
