ALBERT HOTEL is hiring for a LAUNDRY ATTENDANTAn urban oasis, tucked away off of Main Street in the heart of Fredericksburg, TX, Albert Hotel offers a peaceful yet sophisticated luxury experience in Texas's famed Hill Country. Opened in January 2025, the property features 105 thoughtfully appointed guest rooms and suites, along with uniquely designed bunk rooms and a private house with custom furnishings, locally-curated amenities, and thoughtful touches.With the guest experience in mind, Albert's elevated amenities include a sunken limestone pool featuring an outdoor bar and cabanas, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 2,000-square-foot full-service spa. Additionally, the property is home to four on-site culinary outlets, including The Restaurant at Albert.Albert boasts 3,600-square-foot of semi-open air event space, a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine deck, and an expansive event lawn, making it a prime destination for weddings, private events, and intimate gatherings.What you'll do:Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, training material, memos, and verbal instructionSort, wash, dry, and fold all linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures and standardsIdentify and pre-treat stains on linens and fabrics before washing to ensure the best possible resultsRegularly clean and maintain laundry equipment to ensure optimal functionality; report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate departmentKeep track of linen inventory and alert supervisor when reordering is necessary to maintain adequate stock levelsInspect laundered items for cleanliness and quality, ensuring they meet the hotel's standards before returning them to circulationDistribute clean and folded laundry items to housekeeping and other departments as neededMaintain a lost and found system for laundry items and return them to appropriate departmentsAdhere to safety and sanitation guidelines while handling and processing laundry itemsWork closely with housekeeping and front office departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of laundry itemsEnsure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessaryEnsure open lines of communication with all departments and management via email, logbooks, meetings, etc. to ensure all needs of the outlet are metAssist in the implementation of special projectsBe available to fill in and assist in other areas as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the outlet as directed by the outlet manager and attend relevant meetings as directedWho you are:You have previous experience in laundry operations or a related field preferred.You are able to interpret standard operating procedures, safety, and sanitation instructions.You have the physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy bags of laundry.You have time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize laundry processing efficiently.BENEFITSWe are proud to offer competitive wages and the following benefits for full-time employees:Up to 3 weeks paid time off annually50% off discount at most New Waterloo restaurantsHealth, vision + dental benefits401K matchingPaid holidaysVolunteer payTuition reimbursementReferral bonusesDiscounts at our shops, hotels + local partnershipsABOUT NEW WATERLOONew Waterloo is a community-centric independent hospitality company based in Austin, Texas.
